My name is TIM TUTTLE. I am running for a seat on the Steuben County Legislature representing District 13 which includes the towns of Caton, Corning and Hornby, NY.

I am a lifelong resident of the Corning area and have lived in Caton for the past 41 years. I have one daughter, Lucinda Ann who lives and works in Norristown, PA.

I’ve spent my entire working career in the American Labor Movement fighting for worker’s rights. I was elected to various positions at the local, national and international levels of the American Flint Glass Workers Union and the United Steel Workers retiring on March 1, 2019.

I believe in fiscal responsibility, affordable utilities, a strong economic base which includes a balance of responsible manufacturing and sustainable agriculture. Working together we can ensure a safe community providing educational opportunities for our children where families can thrive while enjoying a clean, healthy, sustainable environment.

I believe in a common sense, no nonsense, constituent-focused approach to governance. I believe we are all better off when we're working together to improve the lives of our neighbors and to create a safe and secure community for our children and grandchildren.
